Dr. Kate's Mission
Drawing from Naturopathic Medicine and Compassionate Inquiry, Dr. Kate Hazlitt and Good Earth Naturopathic Centre seeks to create a safe place to be seen, heard, and valued and to help people reconnect with the truth of who they are. Dr. Kate’s mission is to serve humanity and provide nourishment, community, and a safe place to heal.

Nourishment
Dr. Kate passionately helps people reconnect to themselves. If you are connected to your essence, then you have self-agency to nourish yourself. Everyone has this ability within themselves and it doesn’t have to be found externally.
Compassionate Inquiry
Compassionate Inquiry is a unique psychotherapy modality that examines how a person’s personality and unconscious dynamics play out in their life, often keeping them stuck in patterns that don’t serve their wellbeing. Compassionate Inquiry brings a person back to the present moment to experience life in our full essence and authentically unite the heart and mind.
Walk the Talk
Walking the talk is really important to Dr. Kate. She practices what she preaches and she understands the challenges of balancing self-care and the pressures of life, running her own practice, and raising a family. The result is that Dr. Kate knows what works and she is a wealth of knowledge that is a great resource to her clients and community.
Good Earth
Naturopathic Centre
Dr. Kate Hazlitt is the founder of Good Earth Naturopathic Centre where she provides 1:1 care to her clients and facilitates self-healing. Dr. Kate is a well-connected practitioner who works closely with other health care professionals to provide clients with the connections they need to support their vitality and plan of care.
Her clinical practice integrates Eastern and Western philosophies of the nature and cause of disease and focuses on the connection between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual layers of health. She uses Asian medicine and acupuncture, clinical nutrition with diet and supplementation, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, counseling, detoxification, drainage, and auricular medicine as primary therapeutic tools.
Dr. Kate Hazlitt graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, in 2006 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology from The University of Western Ontario. She began her clinical practice in Seaforth in the fall of 2006, and shortly after opened a second clinic in Goderich. In 2008, Dr. Hazlitt went into full-time clinical practice in Goderich, as the founder and clinic director of Good Earth Naturopathic Centre.
We are all connected.
Dr. Kate is an introvert who loves to gather groups together. Healing is a community activity and community is medicine. When we embark on our own healing journey, we are supporting the healing of others and of the earth. When we take responsibility for our health, we are taking responsibility for the health of the planet. We are all connected and we heal together.

She is the creator of Ignite Your Radiance, a program to support women embody their passions and The Well Child, a virtual education series created for parents and caregivers who want to feel empowered in their family’s wellness and understand how to be an active participant in their child’s well-being.
